On The Redemption Of Boysterous NFTs As Physical Assets

Well, well, friends, the time has come and we are eager to highlight and outline the process and innovation in the development of Fashion’s (with the big F) first redeemable NFTs, backed and authenticated by the WAX blockchain. (Cheers from the crowd)

While reading this publication, you may be aware that Boysterous has already begun the distribution of redeemable NFTs. However, we had not addressed, before now, the current process that will live as the golden rule in being able to redeem Boysterous NFTs as physical assets going forward. Disclaimer: because we are human, the current process we are about to present may not be perfect, we think it will work well for now, and we can promise you that we will continue to find opportunities to grow and develop in all of our efforts.

Here are some questions that we anticipate that you may have at this point in the read and we will try our best to answer them before we move forward: How do I know if my NFT is redeemable? How do I obtain a redeemable NFT? Do I have to redeem the product if I have the redeemable NFT in my wallet?

How do I know if my NFT is redeemable?

Up until this point, all of the NFTs that have been distributed and are eligible for redemption have been 1/1 Diamond variants of the asset. We anticipate that we will soon have other variants, aside from Diamond, that will be eligible for redemption. In fact, we are currently working on a collection that will likely introduce new levels of variants to our assets. From hereafter, all NFTs that have the eligibility to be redeemed will have the information available in the description and will outline the procedure necessary to begin the process of redeeming your physical asset.

How do I obtain a redeemable NFT?

So far, for Boysterous NFTs, there have been a couple of different opportunities to obtain an NFT eligible for redemption. This includes air drops to top HODLers and random drawings. There may also be 1/1 redeemable Diamond NFTs on the marketplace that are eligible for redemption. However, we will soon be introducing more exciting, ambitious drops and events that will provide collectors with the opportunity to get their hands on redeemable NFTs. In fact, one such event was recently hosted on NeftyBlocks July 16th & 17th. Please reference Boysterous Presents: A Boysterous Blending Event for more information on the two-day event & how you may participate in future events and obtain a redeemable NFT. We’ll try not to reveal too much in this publication, but there’s nothing wrong with a little teasing… be on the lookout for a coming announcement on our most luxurious, most ambitious project yet- folks, this one is going to go down in history.

Do I HAVE to redeem the asset if I have the redeemable NFT in my wallet?

The short answer is, no. If you happen to be the lucky (or strategic) HODLer to get your hands on a Boysterous NFT eligible for redemption, you are not required to redeem the asset attached to the NFT. You may hold the NFT in your wallet for potential future utilities and drops. You may sell it on the secondary market. You can do just about whatever you’d like. But please note, that once you choose to redeem your NFT, there will be no exchanges, refunds, or trades once redeemed. We will outline more of the process in redeeming your NFTs here shortly.

We hope that the above questions & answers have been helpful up to this point. From here, we will get a little more detailed and specific in laying out the process that will be necessary to take in order to utilize your redeemable NFT most transparently. But first, we must introduce a very important cog in this machine: The Boysterous Gallery WAX Account. The Boysterous gallery account is going to be integral in the process of redeeming your assets. After deliberating our best ideas in making the redemption process as transparent as possible, we had the bright idea to host a gallery that houses all of the NFTs that have been submitted for redemption. The Boysterous gallery WAX account name will be boysterousx1. If you happen to be redeeming your NFTs, you will be interacting directly with the boysterousx1 WAX gallery account.

Next, we will describe the steps necessary to redeem your asset and how boysterousx1 will be implemented.

Example: You have participated in a Boysterous Blending Event and have been dropped an NFT that is eligible for redemption. And you want to take advantage of the opportunity. In the description of the redeemable NFT you will see a message that will look something like this (remember, a 1/1 Diamond variant may not always be necessary to be eligible for redemption):

• In order to redeem the physical asset attached to this NFT, you must transfer the #1 Diamond Variant of this NFT via The Trading Page on Atomichub and by “Offering” the asset to the ( boysterousx1 ) WAX gallery account. The ONLY way to redeem this asset is through the aforementioned method. If your NFT is not transferred by this process, we cannot accept the offer and therefore are not responsible for fulfilling the transaction. Please provide your email address or some form of contact information as the memo in the transfer. Once the #1 Diamond Variant of this redeemable NFT has been accepted and received, you will then receive a 1/1 Certificate Of Authenticity NFT to replace the original #1 Diamond Variant to show proof of ownership and physical redemption. After all transfers and transactions have been verified, a representative from Boysterous Couture will follow up via email for couture shipping and delivery information.

An Example Of The Certificate Of Authenticity NFT That Will Be Received Upon Redemption

We will do our best to maintain clarity and ease in the process of redeeming our NFTs, but it will be up to the redeemer to follow the specific steps involved in order to be eligible for redemption. As for now, the ONLY way to redeem your Boysterous asset would be to “Offer” your redeemable NFT to the boysterousx1 gallery account via the Trading page on Atomichub. Once your NFT has been accepted by Boysterous with the attached email or contact information in the memo, you will then receive a 1/1 Certificate Of Authenticity NFT that will, in essence, replace the NFT that you have sent to the gallery account. This process exists to maintain transparency on all sides and to provide a gallery for collector’s to admire. We will then reach out via your preferred contact information to obtain details on shipping and distribution of physical assets.*

Again, there will likely be a more efficient way to redeem your Boysterous NFTs in the future. And if you have recommendations, we are open ears. But for now, we believe that this process will work and we like the community involvement as well as the ritual in the exchanging of redeemable NFTs for physical, fashionable assets.
